Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• At least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and technical supplies advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Understanding of quotations, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and procurement docs.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple requirements.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate reliable suppliers for construction materials, equipment, tools, and other requirements.
• Request and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and suitable quality.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other purchasing conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and other procurement documents.
• Coordinate with project/site teams, engineers, warehouse, accounting, and management regarding purchasing requirements.
• Monitor orders and ensure materials and equipment are delivered according to the required schedule.
• Maintain an updated database of suppliers, prices, quotations, and purchasing records.
• Verify specifications, quantities, and quality requirements before purchasing.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor market prices and identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
