Job summary

Highpoint Property Ventures is seeking a procurement professional in Cebu City to source and canvass construction materials, tools, and supplies, and to coordinate with internal teams on purchases.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing, with strong negotiation and supplier coordination skills, plus proficiency in MS Office and Excel. You will manage quotations, purchase orders, and timely material delivery to site needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in purchasing construction materials.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, hardware, tools, and supplies.
• Experience in supplier canvassing, quotation comparison, and price negotiation.
• Strong supplier coordination and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and canvass construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
• Request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders and other purchasing documents
• Coordinate with Project, Warehouse, Accounting, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
• Maintain updated supplier records, quotations, purchase orders, and other procurement documents
• Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and required quality standards
• Resolve supplier, delivery, and purchasing issues promptly
