Job summary

IBC International Builders Corporation seeks a skilled Construction Plant Mechanic to perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of construction plant machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations on our projects.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues, keep accurate maintenance records, and coordinate with site supervisors and operators to schedule repairs with minimal downtime, while upholding ISO-aligned safety and quality

Qualifications

• Strong maintenance and repair skills for construction plant machinery.
• Proficient troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, and repair of construction plant machinery.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot hydraulic and basic electrical problems.
• Coordinate with supervisors and operators to schedule repairs with minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety and quality procedures aligned with ISO standards.
• Support project teams by keeping equipment in optimal working condition.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and performance checks as needed.
• Collaborate with other technical staff.
