Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd in Toa Payoh, Singapore, is seeking a Sales Representative to promote and sell building and construction products to contractors and dealers. You will develop new business opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships and conduct customer visits to understand requirements.

You will prepare quotations, coordinate with managers on pricing and stock, organize product demonstrations, and generate SAP-based sales orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum ITE qualification or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of sales experience in building/construction/technical products.
• Experience in selling construction materials is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with liaising with construction material companies/contractors are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company's building and construction products to building contractors, specialist contractors and building material dealers.
• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
• Conduct customer visits and site visits to understand customer requirements and promote suitable products.
• Prepare quotations by coordinating with managers on product information, pricing and stock availability.
• Organise product demonstrations and marketing activities for architects, designers, developers and contractors.
• Coordinate with principals and the Store Supervisor on product availability and delivery arrangements.
• Prepare product literature, samples and technical information for customer submissions.
• Generate sales orders and purchase requisitions using SAP.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection from customers.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback, providing appropriate follow-up and solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to new Product Representatives when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
