Job summary

Saint-Gobain Philippines Co. Ltd Inc is seeking a Sales Officer to drive sales of construction materials by developing new business with contractors, developers, architects, and hardware stores. You will promote building solutions and work toward clear sales targets.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, plus proficiency in MS Office and CRM. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively are essential to cover assigned territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in construction materials or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and the local market.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Experience selling waterproofing, concrete admixtures, sealants, coatings, flooring systems, cementitious products or construction chemicals (preferred).
• Existing network within contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and distributors (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers within assigned territories.
• Promote and sell construction materials and building solutions.
• Conduct regular client visits to contractors, developers, consultants, and project sites.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers within approved guidelines.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Provide technical product information and recommend suitable solutions.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
