Job summary

Elite Headhunting Incorporated in Quezon City is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement Assistant with construction industry experience to support sourcing of construction materials, building supplies, tools, and project requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1–2 years in purchasing, and hands-on PO processing, supplier canvassing, and delivery monitoring. On-site, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• 1–2 years of Purchasing or Procurement experience.
• Construction industry experience is required / strongly preferred.
• Experience purchasing construction materials, building materials, hardware, tools, or project supplies is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Purchase Orders, supplier canvassing, quotations, and delivery monitoring.
• Familiarity with supplier invoices, billings, delivery receipts, and payment requests.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, building supplies, tools, and project requirements.
• Prepare, process, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).
• Request and compare supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, orders, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor the timely delivery of construction materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with project/site personnel regarding material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with material replenishment.
• Review and verify supplier invoices, billings, delivery receipts, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing payment requests and liquidation reports.
• Maintain complete and organized purchasing and procurement records.
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating reliable construction material suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding discrepancies, incomplete deliveries, and other concerns.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and competitive supplier pricing.
• Ensure procurement transactions are properly documented.
• Perform other purchasing and procurement duties as assigned.
