Job summary

Paintworks Enterprises Inc. in Cebu City is seeking a Purchasing Staff to source, order, and monitor materials for paint finishing operations.

The role ensures timely procurement of quality supplies at the most cost-effective prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and supporting smooth project execution. The Purchasing Staff will coordinate with warehouse, production, and project teams, manage supplier quotations, and process purchase orders.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic inventory or purchasing systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase paint materials, chemicals, tools, equipment, and related supplies based on project and operational requirements
• Request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
• Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentation
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and project teams to monitor inventory levels and material usage
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with suppliers regarding delays, shortages, or discrepancies
• Inspect delivered items for accuracy, quality, and completeness against purchase orders
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier files, and inventory reports
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Assist in cost control by identifying alternative suppliers and negotiating pricing when possible
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procurement procedures
