Job summary

Real Hires in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare bids for projects.

You will gather vendor quotes, calculate material and labor costs, and ensure bids are accurate and competitive while tracking RFIs and pricing changes. Proficiency with STACK or Bluebeam is a plus.

Our client is looking for a Construction Estimator to review project plans, calculate material and labor costs, get vendor pricing, and prepare bids.

If you have experience with construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, and reading construction drawings, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for materials and labor.
• Calculate project costs and pricing.
• Prepare accurate and competitive bids and estimates.
• Send RFPs to vendors and compare their quotes.
• Ask clients questions through RFIs when project details are unclear.
• Estimate electrical and lighting work.
• Check plans for missing information, cost issues, and scope changes.
• Keep pricing and project files organized and up to date.
• Use STACK, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
• Work with vendors, clients, and the team to meet bid deadlines.
• Manage multiple estimates while keeping the numbers accurate.
