ROLE OVERVIEW

The Construction Director will oversee the delivery of multiple large-scale construction projects, ensuring projects are executed according to approved plans, timelines, and business requirements. The role will provide overall direction across project execution, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and project turnover.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Construction Project Management

Oversee multiple construction projects from planning through completion.

Monitor project progress, schedules, milestones, and overall execution.

Ensure construction activities remain aligned with approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.

Identify and address project issues that may affect timelines or delivery.

Contractor & Stakeholder Management

Manage coordination with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Facilitate timely resolution of construction and project-related concerns.

Maintain alignment among project teams and external partners.

Project Delivery

Drive projects toward timely completion and successful turnover.

Monitor critical project activities and key milestones.

Ensure proper coordination of construction activities leading to project completion and readiness for turnover.

Support effective project execution while maintaining required standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 10 years of experience in construction, with strong experience in construction project management.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Strong experience in construction project management.
• Experience handling large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and contractors simultaneously.
• Strong background in contractor and stakeholder management.
• Experience overseeing projects with demanding timelines and expansion-driven delivery requirements is preferred.
