Grand Apex Constructions Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, project accounting, tax compliance, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and CPA certification are required.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years in management.
• Extensive construction industry experience and project cost accounting.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Experience with PFRS and BIR regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Accounting Department and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor project costs, WIP, budgets, and project profitability.
• Supervise AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month/end year-end closings.
• Oversee progress billings, collections, subcontractor billings, retention, advances, and liquidation.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS, BIR regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, and HR for accurate reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Accounting team and drive process improvements.
