Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, project costing, and revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or construction-specific software like Sage 300 CRE, COINS, or Procore).
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Track and monitor costs for multiple construction projects.
• Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain internal controls.
• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance as needed.
