Job summary

Baker McKenzie, a leading international law firm, seeks an Analyst, Conflicts Management to support Partners and offices in identifying and analyzing potential conflicts of interest. You will review CMR data for accuracy, engage Partners for clearance, and maintain thorough records for audits.

You will collaborate across centers, contribute to process improvements, and help protect client relationships and the firm's interests through diligent conflict resolution.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree or relevant work experience in a related field.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and online research tools.
• Able to make effective and accurate decisions with guidance when required.
• Strong professionalism and ability to positively influence others.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of support to the Firm, Partners and offices with regard to conflicts management.
• Review Conflicts Management Requests (CMR) for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and analyse potential conflicts of interest and propose concise resolutions to Firm Attorneys.
• Advance the clearance of conflicts by communicating with Firm Partners.
• Obtain waiver letters from Partners and clients when required by guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records for internal documentation and audit purposes.
• Adhere to Firm policies and elevate issues to Management as needed.
• Process CMRs within the agreed Service Level Agreement.
• Engage with team on best practices and process improvements.
• Support team projects and initiatives when required.
