Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager – Compliance & Risk to lead risk management and regulatory compliance from its Gift City, Gandhinagar location. The role requires coordinating with regulators and auditors and ensuring adherence to internal controls and risk limits across portfolios.

Ideal candidates have postgraduate qualifications (MBA/CA) and 5+ years in related financial activities, with strong Excel and analytical skills and the ability to handle investment

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree; MBA/CA preferred.
• 5+ years in portfolio management, broker dealer, wealth management or fund management.
• Understanding of asset management and regulatory guidelines (SEBI MF).

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines through systemic controls.
• Prepare policy documents and regulatory filings as required.
• Coordinate with regulators, auditors and handle regulatory inspections.
• Understand market risk concepts and metrics (VaR, Tracking Error, Sharpe ratio, Information ratio).
• Support Investment Operations in cash flows, reconciliations and settlements.
• Interact with banks and RTA; handle statutory returns (TDS, STT, GST, IT).
