Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai, India is seeking a Manager – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to support the governance, risk and regulatory framework for a DIFC-based external asset management entity.

The role requires 3+ years in GRC, with DIFC/DFSA exposure preferred, and candidates from Big 4 or financial services backgrounds are welcome. ICA/CAMS/CISI certification would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk or internal audit.
• Strong exposure to DIFC/DFSA regulations is preferred.
• Experience in wealth management, asset management, private banking or EAM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DFSA/DIFC regulatory requirements and developments.
• Manage compliance calendars, regulatory obligations, risk registers and action trackers.
• Support compliance monitoring, control testing and remediation activities.
• Coordinate internal/external audits, regulatory reviews and information requests.
• Support policy, procedure, risk assessment and control framework updates.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with India group functions and the DIFC entity.
• Escalate key compliance, AML, risk and regulatory matters to the relevant stakeholders.
