Job summary

VBP is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure operations align with government regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. You will oversee the compliance program, coordinate audits, and keep management informed of regulatory changes across PEZA, BOI, SEC and DOLE.

The role requires a business-focused candidate with strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with cross-functional teams. A proactive approach to process improvements is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• Experience coordinating audits and dealings with regulatory bodies is preferred.
• Familiarity with PEZA, BOI, SEC, DOLE and other agencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the compliance program's effective implementation.
• Ensure compliance with PEZA, BIR, BOI, SEC, DOLE and related agencies.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports within deadlines.
• Maintain records of compliance activities and readiness for audits.
• Identify regulatory risks and inform management of issues.
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants on compliance matters.
• Support internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and facility inspections.
• Address due diligence requirements and training initiatives.
