Job summary

VBP seeks a Compliance Officer in Cagayan de Oro to help ensure operations conform with government regulations, internal policies, and professional standards. You will monitor the compliance program, prepare reports, maintain records, and coordinate with auditors to uphold high governance standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business Admin and experience with regulatory bodies; strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration are essential. Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience coordinating audits with regulators.
• Knowledge of PEZA, BOI, SEC, and DOLE requirements.
• Proficient Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support effective implementation of the compliance program.
• Ensure compliance with PEZA, BOI, SEC, DOLE and other agencies.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports on time.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
• Track regulatory updates and identify risks.
• Inform management of significant compliance matters.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Collaborate with external consultants and legal counsel.
• Support implementation of internal controls and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and facility inspections.
• Review processes to identify gaps and improvements.
• Respond to due diligence requirements.
• Support compliance education and training.
• Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes.
• Fixed Mon-Fri 7 AM to 4 PM schedule.
