Job summary

Trans World Trading Co., Inc. in Laguna seeks a Compliance Officer who will also serve as Safety Officer to ensure adherence to environmental and occupational safety regulations. You will oversee permits, licenses, and timely regulatory reporting to DENR (EMB), LLDA, DOLE, and LGUs.

You will verify SDS hazards and advise on safety precautions, and you may perform ground and operational safety tasks. Travel and field work are required; immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate and Licensed Chemical Engineering or related course.
• Related working experience is an advantage.
• Willing to travel and work on field.
• Can start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements related to environment and occupational safety and health (permits, certificates, licenses, and timely submission of regulatory reports).
• Prepare Self-Monitoring reports for DENR (EMB) / LLDA on quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis; DOLE OSH reports and annual work environment monitoring.
• Coordinate with LGU and agencies such as PRC; engage with BFP and Building Office as needed.
• Verify information about hazards of products through Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and advise on safety precautions.
• Act as Safety Officer and perform ground and operational tasks.
• Prepare various safety-related reports, documents, and forms.

Job Summary:

The Chemical Engineer will be appointed as the company's Compliance Officer.

• Responsibilities cover compliance to applicable local statutory and regulatory requirements related to environment and occupational safety and health (i.e. permits, certificates, and licenses and timely submission of regulatory reports).
• as enforced by the following local government agencies:

1. DENR (EMB) / LLDA – Prepares Self-Monitoring quarterly, semi-annual and annual report.2. DOLE – Prepares monthly and annual report on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH); Work environment monitoring on Annual basis.

3. Local Government Units (LGU) – Coordinates and Networks with the following agencies: PRC; Makati City – BFP and Building Office and etc.4. Other Local Non-Government Associations.

• The Compliance Officer verifies information about the hazards of a product through the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and advise about safety precautions.
• In addition, he also acts as a Safety Officer and shall perform ground and operational tasks.
• The Compliance Officer also prepares various safety related reports, documents and forms

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
