Provide timely and practical legal advice, opinions, and guidance to Management and business units on operational, commercial, labor, corporate, and regulatory matters to support informed decision-making and minimize legal exposure.
Review, evaluate, draft, and endorse contracts, agreements, memoranda, and other legal documents to ensure legal sufficiency, compliance, and protection of the Company's interests.
Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and regulatory issuances; assess organizational impact and ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Coordinate and monitor all legal cases, disputes, claims, and administrative proceedings with TDG Legal Department and/or appointed external legal counsel. Ensure timely submission of documentary requirements and status updates.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, and compliance risks affecting business operations through proactive risk assessments, controls implementation, and management recommendations.
Review, recommend, and develop compliance-related policies, procedures, codes, and guidelines in coordination with concerned departments to strengthen governance and regulatory compliance.
Cascade, implement, and monitor approved compliance policies, guidelines, and procedures across the organization and ensure adherence by all concerned stakeholders.
Conduct compliance reviews and investigations on reported violations, unethical conduct, or non-compliance issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and facilitate compliance awareness programs, policy orientation sessions, and ethics-related training initiatives to promote a culture of integrity and compliance
Maintain professional relationships with regulatory agencies, government offices, and industry regulators to address compliance requirements, inquiries, inspections, and audits.
Prepare, validate, and submit accurate legal, compliance, governance, and regulatory reports to Management and external stakeholders within prescribed deadlines.
