This role ensures total rewards practices are competitive, equitable, compliant with laws, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and experienced in designing reward programs that boost engagement, retention, and performance across the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years in Compensation and Benefits.
  • Minimum 2 years in leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs, including incentive and retention initiatives.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to stay competitive.
  • Lead annual compensation review processes and merit increases.
  • Evaluate and enhance employee benefits programs (HMO, wellness, retirement plans).
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external benefit providers and vendors.
  • Oversee benefit enrollments, updates, and separations, and monitor reports.
  • Prepare reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and budgets.
  • Lead HRIS implementations and new program rollouts.
  • Promote accountability and staff development within the team.

Compensation & Benefits Manager

The Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that total rewards practices are competitive, equitable, compliant with applicable laws, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and experienced in designing reward programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, including incentive, recognition, and employee retention initiatives.

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure compensation remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.

  • Support and administer the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, salary adjustments, and incentive payouts.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and enhance employee benefits programs, including HMO, wellness initiatives, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, government regulations, and company policies related to compensation and benefits.

  • Manage relationships with external benefit providers, insurance partners, and other compensation and benefits vendors.

  • Coordinate with HMO providers and monitor reports, utilization, billing, and reconciliation.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefit enrollments, updates, and employee separations.

  • Conduct employee orientations and provide clear communication regarding compensation and benefits programs.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

  • Prepare, analyze, and present reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, budgeting, and cost analysis.

  • Lead compensation and benefits projects, including HRIS implementations, policy enhancements, and new program rollouts.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Review and recommend both company-initiated and government-mandated employee benefits while maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Monitor daily IVANTI ticketing activities and ensure timely resolution of compensation and benefits concerns.

  • Monitor compensation and benefits transactions across HR systems and tracking databases.

  • Review and ensure the timely processing of compensation and payroll-related data.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all government-mandated benefits and statutory requirements.

  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Compensation and Benefits team, providing regular feedback and career development support.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, payroll, and benefits concerns.

  • Support HR initiatives and perform other duties that contribute to the achievement of the Human Resources Department's goals and objectives.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related four-year course.

Experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Compensation and Benefits.

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a strategic Compensation and Benefits role.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, labor laws, government regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Excel, and compensation management tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and strict confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Working Conditions
  • Compressed work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Willing to render extended hours when business needs require.

  • Handles highly confidential employee information and is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
