Job summary

Kaertech a Baracoda Company in Negros Occidental invites a Company Nurse and Admin Officer to promote employee health, administer first aid, and support daily operations in a manufacturing setting. The role covers OSH compliance, health trainings, maintaining medical records, coordinating with HMO, and assisting in admin tasks such as canteen, security, and visitor management.

Candidates should have nursing degree and license, with at least 1 year nursing experience in manufacturing;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree, professional license in Nursing or equivalent.
• BOSH Training Certificate or OHNAP Training Certificate is an advantage.
• At least 1 year work experience as occupational nurse in a manufacturing company.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and can work independently on assigned tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills and positive disposition.
• Flexible in dealing with work-related concerns and people.

Responsibilities

• Implements the OSH programs of the company and assists in Admin functions (canteen, security, janitorial, visitor management, supplies).
• Promotes company health and safety-related training and programs.
• Maintains confidential employee health records and files with an efficient reporting system.
• Administers first aid and refers patients to hospitals for further treatment.
• Follows up with hospitalized employees and conducts home visits as requested by department heads.
• Attends and coordinates employees' annual check-up.
• Maintains inventory of medicines and supplies and ensures timely replenishment; maintains medical instruments.
• Responds to employee health concerns with advice and referrals.
• Ensures clinic visibility; conducts blood pressure and vital signs checks.
• Implements and enforces Health and Safety policies and programs.
• Liaises with HMOs for transactions.
• Implements monthly wellness programs and health information dissemination.
• Performs other HR functions as assigned.

Job description

The Company Nurse and Admin Officer is responsible for promoting employee health and well-being, preventing workplace injuries and illnesses, ensuring compliance with DOLE OSH standards, and providing immediate medical care and first aid within the workplace. He or sheprovides comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the company.

Responsibilities

• Implements the OSH programs of the company andassists inAdminfunctions such as but not limited tocanteen, security, janitorial, visitor management, and janitorial supplies.
• Responsible in promoting company health and safety-related training and programs.
• Manages confidential files including the following: maintain an efficient, updated reporting and recording system of employees health records and files.
• Administers first aid treatment on illness or accident before referring the patient to a hospital nearby for further medical treatment.
• Follows-up employees admitted in the hospitals and conducts home visits as requested by department heads.
• Attends and coordinates employees' annual check-up.
• Maintains an up-to-date inventory of medicines and supplies and replenishes supply on schedule; maintenance of medical instruments.
• Response to employee's health concern, give sound advice and referrals.
• Ensures visibility at Company clinic. Employees blood pressure monitoring and vital signs taking.
• Implements and ensures compliance with Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs.
• Act as liason and coordinator with HMO transactions.
• Implements monthly wellness program for health awareness and information dissemination.
• Other HR functions as may be assigned.

Must Have

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Nursing or equivalent
• With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training Certificate or Occupational Health Nurse Association of the Philippines (OHNAP) Training Certificate is an advantage
• With at least 1 year work experience as occupational nurse in a manufacturing company
• Able to maintain confidentiality and can work independently on assigned tasks
• With good interpersonal skills and positive disposition
• Flexible in dealing work-related concerns and people
