Chromaesthetics Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Company Nurse to promote and maintain employee health, safety, and well-being. You will provide basic medical care, implement workplace health programs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
You will manage health records, coordinate pre-employment and annual exams, conduct health education, respond to emergencies, and support DOLE and OSH standards while safeguarding confidentiality.
Position Overview:
The Company Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of employees by providing basic medical care, implementing workplace health programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role supports a safe and healthy work environment through preventive care, health education, medical documentation, and emergency response.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and administer the company's occupational health program, integrating workplace health and safety initiatives in the absence of a company physician.
Provide first aid, emergency care, and basic nursing services to employees who are injured or become ill in the workplace.
Conduct health assessments and assist in pre-employment, annual, and other health examinations within the scope of the nursing profession.
Refer employees to appropriate healthcare providers or specialists when further medical evaluation or treatment is required.
Promote employee health and wellness by planning and facilitating health education programs, wellness campaigns, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
Recommend improvements to the workplace that support employee health, safety, and overall well-being.
Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and other health-related documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
Prepare, submit, and maintain mandatory medical and occupational health reports in compliance with DOLE and other regulatory requirements.
Disseminate health information through awareness campaigns, posters, advisories, and educational materials.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company health policies.
Perform other duties related to employee health and occupational safety as assigned.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.
Certified Occupational Health Nurse (OHNAP) or with Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training; OHNAP certification is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Health Nurse or Company Nurse.
Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, DOLE regulations, and workplace health programs.
Strong clinical assessment, first aid, and emergency response skills.
Excellent documentation, recordkeeping, and report preparation skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and medical record documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and support employees.
Highly organized, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality of medical information.
