As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or personnel whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and vehicle maintenance. This role is essential to ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies

• Transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations in a timely and secure manner

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition

• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery logs and vehicle maintenance

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered

• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured and unloaded safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle interior and exterior at all times

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to minimise risk and accident prevention

• Report any vehicle breakdowns, accidents or mechanical issues immediately to management

• Assist with warehouse or loading activities as required
