Job summary

Leslie Farms, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a hands-on commercial and operations professional to negotiate with bakeries and food manufacturers while on the processing floor handling the quality line.

You will source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers of surplus and off-specification materials and manage inbound deliveries. In this role you will oversee warehouse storage, inventory accuracy, and daily processing activities, ensuring GMP, HACCP, and biosecurity standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Business Admin, SCM, Food Tech, Animal Science, or related field
• 2–3 years in procurement, warehousing and logistics, or food/feed processing
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices
• Strong Excel skills and inventory/ERP system experience
• Willingness to travel regularly to supplier sites
• HACCP or forklift certification, or supervisory training

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers of surplus and off-specification food materials
• Negotiate price, volume, and delivery terms on landed-cost-per-kilogram basis
• Schedule inbound deliveries and inspect incoming material for volume, moisture, contamination, and spoilage
• Manage storage, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and inventory accuracy in the warehouse
• Supervise daily processing — sorting, de-packaging, size reduction, drying, and shelf-life extension
• Hold accountability for monthly processed volume, conversion yield, and quality conformance
• Enforce GMP, hygiene, and biosecurity standards, and report performance to the Commodity Supervisor

About you

• Confidence negotiating with suppliers and the discipline to document what you agree
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and feed or food safety practice
• Strong Excel skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems
• Willingness to travel regularly to supplier sites
• Experience with bakery by-products, surplus food recovery, or upcycled feed materials
• HACCP or forklift certification, or completed supervisory training
• Valid driver's license
