Qualifications

• Five years of full-time work experience in the food manufacturing industry or similar.
• Familiarity with GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

About the role

Responsible for ensuring that the overall operations of the assigned sections are aligned with the management goals and targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts critical operations analysis, develops or modifies policy and strategic plans, and implements, evaluates programs in assigned sections

• Ensures alignment of team to the department's key performance area and achievement of section and individuals to the set key performance indicators

• Measures performance of assigned sections and creates programs that will promote continuous improvement while maintaining synergy amongst team members

• Coaches and mentors team members to develop professional growth and instill company values and work ethics

• Evaluates team members on a regular basis, ensuring that individual goals are aligned with departmental and company goals

• Proposes operational improvement projects contributing to the departmental goals based on the available data

• Plans the project timeline and the resources needed

• Spearheads the lined-up activities towards project succession as approved by the Operations Head

• Ensures correct and proper project implementation every step of the way

• Identifies, allocates and manages resources to ensure achievement of departmental goals

About you

• College Graduate, preferably Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and other related courses

• Minimum of five (5) years full time work experience in the Food Industry, preferably Manufacturing, in the same position or higher

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Applications

• Knowledgeable in government regulatory, GMP, Food Safety and Quality

• Baking Science and/or Food Manufacturing
