Job summary

Skyro is seeking a Collections Trainer/Quality Specialist in the Philippines to ensure high standards in debt collection through quality assurance and training. You will supervise onboarding, deliver coaching, and collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance to align efforts with company goals.

The role emphasizes improving collection efficiency, maintaining compliance with regulations, and developing robust training programs for agents across the department.

Qualifications

• Has experience in collections, quality assurance, or training; experience in both is a plus.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards and the Unfair Debt Collection Act.
• Advanced knowledge of training and development methodologies.
• Ability to present, explain, and engage with peers, trainers, agents, and field collectors.
• Ability to identify training gaps and implement learning solutions effectively.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Good English communication, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Compliance: evaluate calls, documentation, and activities for policy and legal compliance.
• Validate rejected applications and flagged cases to ensure agent accuracy.
• Maintain data and verify documentation related to collections, agreements and payments.
• Compile quality reports and provide insights to management.
• Training & Development: design and update training programs and materials for collections.
• Lead onboarding sessions and deliver ongoing training for agents.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to improve professionalism and debt recovery.
• Supervise nesting and adaptation periods to accelerate learning.
