Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• At least 35 years of experience in collections operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in financial services or lending is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day collection operations and ensure compliance with policies and ethical standards.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular feedback and coaching sessions.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and high morale among collection officers.
• Ensure timely collection of maturing loans and minimize accounts rolling into overdue or default stages.
• Develop ad hoc collection strategies when faced with portfolio or manpower challenges.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and organized reporting, documentation, and submission of all relevant collection reports.
• Collaborate with the Collections Manager to review and refine collection processes and policies.
• Recommend initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve key performance outcomes.
• Work with other departments on projects that improve operational efficiency, asset quality, and risk mitigation.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision & People Management

• Oversee daily collection operations and ensure compliance with policies and ethical standards.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular feedback and coaching sessions.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and high morale among collection officers.

Collections Activities Management

• Ensure timely collection of maturing loans and minimize accounts rolling into overdue or default stages.
• Implement proactive and reinforced collection measures to improve recovery rates.
• Develop ad hoc collection strategies when faced with portfolio or manpower challenges.

Records & Documentation

• Ensure accurate, timely, and organized reporting, documentation, and submission of all relevant collection reports.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Collaborate with the Collections Manager to review and refine collection processes and policies.
• Recommend initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve key performance outcomes.

Cross-Functional Support & Special Projects

• Work with other departments on projects that improve operational efficiency, asset quality, and risk mitigation.
