Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Collections Specialist in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, to provide first-line credit and collection services by phone and email, helping the organization meet financial and operational goals.

You will manage a diverse portfolio, perform timely collection activities, and escalate disputes as needed. The role requires 1–2 years in AR/collections and a 1pm–10pm shift; a finance-related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or any equivalent field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Customer Service, Finance Operations.
• Willing to work the 1pm to 10pm shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio which includes varying account types such as strategic accounts, trading partners, intercompany and end customers.
• Review open/active accounts for collection efforts.
• Prepare and communicate monthly Statement of Accounts to all assigned customers.
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates which would include pre-due date reminder calls/emails and follow-up on aging balances.
• Identify, validate and log customer disputes to initiate resolution and escalation.
• Perform initial investigation and communicate findings with the proper owners/resolvers.
