Job summary

Emerson in Metro Manila is seeking a Collections Specialist to join a dynamic finance team. You will manage a diverse portfolio, perform first-line credit and collection activities by phone and email, and aim to improve cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in accounts receivable or collections, a finance background, and are ready to work 1pm–10pm. The role offers growth, collaborative culture, and practical experience in ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio including accounts types such as strategic accounts, trading partners, intercompany and end customers.
• Review open/active accounts for collection efforts.
• Prepare and communicate monthly Statements of Accounts to all assigned customers.
• Collect customer payments by due dates, including pre-due date reminder calls/emails and follow-ups on aging balances.
• Identify, validate and log customer disputes to initiate resolution and escalation.
• Perform initial investigation and communicate findings with the proper owners/resolvers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or any equivalent field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Customer Service, Finance Operations.
• Willing to work the 1pm to 10pm shift schedule
