MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to monitor customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and secure timely payments. The role requires engagement with Billing, Sales, and Operations, and involves night hours in a hybrid setup in Libis, Quezon City.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in accounting/finance and 2+ years in AR, with strong Excel and English communication skills. Healthcare coverage on day one and performance bonuses are among the perks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Two or more years of commercial collections, accounts receivable, cash application, or billing experience.
• Strong reconciliation, documentation, Excel, and customer-communication skills.
• Ability to interpret invoices, aging reports, account statements, and supporting service documentation.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency and willingness to work primarily U.S. Eastern Time hours (night shift).

Responsabilités

• Monitor assigned customer accounts, aging reports, past-due balances, unapplied cash, credits, deductions, and payment commitments.
• Contact customers by phone and email to secure payment and document collection activity.
• Research disputes involving pricing, invoices, purchase orders, service records, and contract terms.
• Coordinate with Billing, Customer Service, Sales, Operations and account owners to resolve disputes.
• Apply cash or support cash application and reconcile account balances.

Your Role

• Monitor assigned customer accounts, aging reports, past-due balances, unapplied cash, credits, deductions, and payment commitments.
• Contact customers professionally by phone and email to secure payment, confirm remittance details, and document collection activity.
• Research disputes involving pricing, invoices, purchase orders, service records, manifests, missed pickups, credits, surcharges, and contract terms.
• Coordinate with Billing, Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and account owners to resolve valid disputes promptly.
• Apply cash or support cash application, reconcile account balances, and identify misapplied or unidentified payments as assigned.
• Maintain accurate notes, promise-to-pay dates, dispute codes, supporting documentation, and next actions in company systems.
• Escalate high-risk accounts, broken payment commitments, bankruptcy notices, potential bad debt, and material customer disputes.
• Support month-end close, allowance analysis, customer statements, audit requests, and AR reporting while complying with approval limits.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Two or more years of commercial collections, accounts receivable, cash application, or billing experience.
• Strong reconciliation, documentation, Microsoft Excel, and customer-communication skills.
• Ability to interpret invoices, aging reports, account statements, and supporting service documentation.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency and willingness to work primarily U.S. Eastern Time hours (night shift).

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with business-to-business healthcare, logistics, waste, field services, subscription services, or multi-location customer accounts.
• Experience with ERP/accounting platforms, CRM systems, payment portals, and high-volume invoicing.
• Knowledge of credit risk, allowance methodology, and month-end AR controls.
• Strong track record in driving key AR metrics (lowering DSO, improving promise-to-pay kept rates, and resolving dispute aging).
• Familiarity with compliance standards for handling commercial service records and customer documentation accurately and ethically.
