Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to support a US-based manufacturing client from our Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City site. The role focuses on billing, cash applications, and proactive collections, maintaining positive client relationships while safeguarding cash flow.

The position offers a hybrid setup with night shift, opportunities to use IQMS/DELMIAWorks or comparable ERP systems, and clear pathways for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication, especially with US-based clients.
• High persistence, tact, and professionalism in collections.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with modern ERP software.
• Attention to detail and ability to work self-directed in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily AR operations for a US-based client, including billing and cash applications.
• Maintain customer relationships while addressing delinquent balances and ensuring timely payments.
• Generate and issue invoices accurately and promptly.
• Compute credit terms, discounts, shipment charges, and rates for proper billing.
• Negotiate repayment schedules and escalate complex disputes when needed.
• Resolve inquiries and billing issues to sustain client satisfaction.
• Apply cash receipts and record payments in the ERP system.
• Prepare weekly deliverables to support cash forecasting and KPI reporting.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and perform general admin tasks.

Your Role

As an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist, you will support daily financial operations for a US-based manufacturing client, focusing primarily on customer billing, cash applications, and proactive collections management. In this key position, you will maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring delinquent balances are addressed, payments are processed on time, and key cash flow forecasts are reliably supported.

Specifically, You Will

• Conduct regular outbound phone calls and written communications with US customers to follow up on past-due accounts and delinquent balances.


• Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and promptly to facilitate timely payment collection.


• Compute credit terms, applicable discounts, shipment charges, and rates for goods and services to ensure precise billing documentation.


• Negotiate and arrange structured repayment schedules with past-due customers, escalating complex disputes or severely delinquent accounts to executive finance leadership.


• Resolve customer account inquiries and billing issues professionally and efficiently to preserve long-term client satisfaction.


• Apply cash receipts and accurately record payment deposits within the ERP system.


• Prepare recurring weekly deliverables to support cash forecasting and assist in developing operational KPI reporting.


• Maintain accurate account documentation, records, and correspondence files, performing general administrative functions as needed.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections management.


• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).


• Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills, with extensive experience handling direct telephone calls with US-based clients.


• High degree of persistence, tact, and professionalism when conducting collections activities and negotiating repayment schedules.


• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience operating within modern accounting or ERP software environments.


• Excellent analytical capabilities, acute attention to detail, and strong organizational skills for working self-directed in a remote setup.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience in accounts receivable and collections within a manufacturing environment.


• Hands-on familiarity or direct experience with IQMS / DELMIAWorks ERP software.
