Job summary

The Golden Legacy Financing Corporation seeks a Collections Supervisor to oversee day-to-day collections operations in line with policy and manuals.

You will supervise reporting personnel, assign tasks, and coach the team to ensure compliance with attendance, discipline, and work ethics while driving KPI performance and process improvements. Coordinate with the CCD Manager on policy reviews and cross-functional projects to strengthen asset quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day Collections operations per policy and manuals.
• Ensures reporting staff adhere to attendance, discipline, and ethics standards.
• Assigns tasks to reporting personnel to align collection activities with schedules.
• Coaches team on policy compliance and performance via feedback and huddles.
• Monitors maturation loan collections to prevent overflow to Overdue/Default.
• Implements enhanced collection activities to recover accounts in Overdue/Default.
• Creates ad hoc measures to manage high portfolios and staffing gaps.
• Ensures on-time, accurate reporting, documentation, filing, and storage.
• Collaborates with CCD Manager to review policies for efficiency and KPI goals.
• Leads or participates in cross-functional projects to improve operations.

Job description

Team Supervision and People Administration

• Aligns the day-to-day Collections operations as defined in the Collections Policy and all related manuals/memos
• Ensures that all reporting personnel adhere to company defined standards in attendance, code of discipline, and work ethics
• Handles the task assignments of all reporting personnel to ensure that all Collection Activities are deployed properly within assigned schedule
• Manages the consistency of performance of all reporting personnel and addresses all relevant deficiencies from the Collections Policy and Standard Operations Protocols through feedback and coaching sessions, team huddles, and operational cascade of all related process and policy changes affecting the team

Collections Activities Management

• Ensures that all maturing loans are collected following all necessary collection activities in Pre-Collections Stage to prevent unnecessary overflow of accounts to Overdue and Default Stages
• Implements reinforced collection activities to ensure recovery of all accounts in Overdue and Default Stages
• As necessary, may create additional ad hoc measures in the management of collections to prevent overflow in instances of higher portfolio of accounts to manage, lack of manpower, process challenges which directly prevents the implementation of the pre-scheduled activities as defined in the Collections Policy

Records and Documents Upkeep

• Implements on-time and accurate reporting, documentation, filling and storage, and submission of all relevant reports as defined in the Collections Policy and related Collections Manuals/Memos

Process Improvement and Innovation

• Works with the CCD Manager to consistently review all relevant Collections policies, manuals, and Standard Operations Protocols to influence operational efficiency and better bottom-line achievement of Collections KPIs

Cross-Functional Support and Special Projects

• As the need arises, the Collections Supervisor may spearhead or may be assigned by the CCD Manager to partner with inter-departmental or cross-functional groups in implementing Special Projects which can improve overall operational efficiency, portfolio asset quality, or decrease risks in general, as examples
