About the role

We are looking for a Collection Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding payments, assisting them with payment arrangements, and maintaining professional and respectful communication while achieving collection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers through phone calls, text messages, or other approved communication channels regarding overdue accounts

• Remind customers about their outstanding balances and payment due dates

• Discuss and arrange suitable payment plans with customers when applicable

• Handle customer questions, concerns, and payment-related issues professionally

• Negotiate payment commitments while following company policies and procedures

• Monitor assigned accounts and conduct timely follow-ups on promised payments

• Update customer records accurately with payment information and collection activities

• Maintain confidentiality of customer and account information

• Meet individual and team collection targets and performance goals
