Job summary

AWS in the Philippines seeks an experienced Technical Account Manager to help customers adopt cloud computing and solve big data challenges. You’ll partner with customers and AWS teams to craft scalable, resilient cloud architectures and provide ongoing guidance to keep environments healthy.

As a trusted advisor, you will communicate best practices, manage incidents, and drive strategy for broad AWS adoption, including mid-market and enterprise customers. Travel of about 10% or more is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect, Service Delivery Manager etc.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem.
• Work with customers of all sizes to execute on the Enterprise Support value proposition of AWS
• Assist with operational support needs for customers already using AWS
• Collaborate with experienced technical account managers to craft and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS communities
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
• Effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment, and drive discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs and risk management
