Trends Group, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to design, govern, and optimize multi-cloud operations across Azure and AWS. The role emphasizes security, compliance, automation, and incident management, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
You will lead advanced troubleshooting, implement IaC, oversee patching and vulnerability management, and contribute to architecture decisions for scalable, observable cloud services in a hybrid environment.
The Cloud Systems Administrator is a senior technical role responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing enterprise cloud operations across multi-cloud environments. This position ensures compliance, security, and operational excellence by leading advanced troubleshooting, automation, and architecture-level decisions. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing executive-level advisories, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct and oversee asset audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Review and assess provider vulnerability management policies and recommend secure baselines such as CIS Benchmarks
Approve remediation strategies for complex, multi-tenant, and hybrid environments while advising on emerging risk trends
Define enterprise event management strategies, including correlation, monitoring policies, and observability standards
Architect integrations across ITSM, SIEM, and AIOps platforms and implement AI-driven anomaly detection
Design and approve event response automation frameworks and telemetry standards across multi-cloud environments
Contribute to incident postmortems, produce detailed RCA documentation, and recommend resilience improvements
Provide advisory support during critical incidents and guide service recovery efforts
Define and automate service request workflows, service catalog designs, and orchestration integrations
Enhance self-service capabilities and review non-standard request templates for approval
Establish change management frameworks, including models, classifications, and templates
Review and approve high-risk or complex changes, ensuring proper risk mitigation, testing, and rollback strategies
Lead cross-functional problem management reviews and perform advanced trend and root cause analysis
Recommend architectural improvements and implement proactive issue detection and auto-remediation strategies
Define patch management strategies, evaluate automation tools, and approve deployment frameworks and schedules
Perform periodic reviews of patch policies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare and deliver incident, operations, and emergency change reports for stakeholders and leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
7+ years in cloud operations, with at least 3 years in a senior or L3 role.
Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments.
Experience managing people
Strong background in ITSM, SIEM, and AIOps integrations.
Proven expertise in compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
Preferred certifications:
Advanced troubleshooting and RCA skills.
Strong analytical and optimization mindset.
Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture, automation, and orchestration tools.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM).
Deep understanding of vulnerability management, patching strategies, and security hardening.
Familiarity with observability platforms and predictive analytics.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and governance.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
May require working beyond normal business hours, including weekends and holidays to meet project deadlines or address urgent client issues
