Job summary

Amazon Web Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a motivated Technical Account Manager to help customers adopt cloud computing, build scalable architectures, and diagnose issues across distributed systems. You will partner with customers and AWS teams to deliver best-practice guidance and ensure environments remain healthy.

The role requires travel of about 10% or more, strong communication, and experience in a customer-facing technical position with hands-on AWS or cloud platform expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect or in a similar role
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/GenAI/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment

Responsibilities

• Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem
• Work with customers of all sizes to execute on the Enterprise Support value proposition of AWS
• Assist with operational support needs for customers already using AWS
• Collaborate with experienced technical account managers to craft and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS communities
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
• Effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment, and drive discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs and risk management
