Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. seeks a Technical Billing Support Engineer to join a high-performing team. You will provide expert-level technical assistance, act as a trusted advisor, and collaborate across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to minimize downtime and improve customer experience.

The role requires rapid learning, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. You will work in a hybrid setup with a global support scope, contributing to continuous product/process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical support/engineering role.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of web services (XML/JSON/SOAP/REST) and SQL databases.
• Proficient in Azure storage solutions, backup/recovery, VPNs, and other Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Handle support requests from customers with SME-level diagnosis and resolution.
• Triaging issues to engineering, product, and vendor teams to meet OLAs.
• Monitor systems and handle events; respond to alerts within defined times.
• Act as first responder during outages to restore service quickly (incident management).
• Document and publish knowledgebase articles to enable self-service and reduce incident volume.
• Maintain excellent customer service and focus; work independently with minimal supervision.
