Qualifications

About the role

HiLance Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Nurse to join our healthcare team in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our facility. As a Clinic Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring that every individual receives exceptional medical attention and support during their visit to our clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and medication administration under physician supervision

• Assist physicians and medical practitioners during examinations, procedures, and treatments

• Perform clinical assessments and document patient medical histories and current health conditions accurately

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterile and properly functioning

• Administer vaccinations and injections as prescribed by medical practitioners

• Conduct health screening and education to patients regarding preventative care and treatment protocols

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations

• Respond promptly to patient requests and concerns, providing compassionate care and support

• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and clinic efficiency

• Sterilise and manage medical instruments and supplies according to infection control protocols

• Monitor patient comfort and well-being before, during, and after medical procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Current Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) nursing license in the Philippines

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic or primary care setting

• Strong knowledge of general medical and surgical nursing practices and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues

• Proficiency in clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and basic life support techniques

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple patients

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare ethics and regulations

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Physical capability to perform nursing duties including standing for extended periods and lifting or assisting patients

• Willing to relocate to Siargao Island, Surigao Del Norte (Staff house provided)
