Job summary

Citi is seeking a Client Manager in the Institutional Banking division. This client-facing banker will own onboarding, implementation, credit management and service coordination, serving as a central point of contact for clients and internal partners to ensure smooth operations.

You will maintain client relationships, support origination activities, manage KYC/AML compliance, and handle escalations to protect Citi's reputation while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in client management or a related role within financial services.
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of operational processes and KYC/AML regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proven ability to resolve client issues, manage escalations, and improve processes.
• Interpersonal skills with strong communication and client relationship abilities.
• High attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with client representatives.
• Support origination activities with RAMs and PAMs and identify low-complexity opportunities.
• Own end-to-end onboarding experience from CRM requests to post-implementation follow-up.
• Coordinate credit management and monitor credit lines with relevant teams.
• Serve as the primary contact for client escalations and day-to-day service coordination.
• Act as the designated KYC owner for a portfolio and ensure accurate client profiles and compliance.
