Job summary

TigerUX is seeking an experienced investigator to review post-rejection inquiries from job seekers and verify employer-reported rejections against available facts. You will identify cases where employment may have occurred despite a reported rejection and gather complete case information for potential legal action.

Responsibilities include collecting documentation, coordinating with clients and employers, and supporting legal actions to recover unpaid placement fees while improving investigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 3+ years of professional experience.
• 4+ years in contact center, customer support, recruitment operations, or similar high-volume customer-facing roles.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and high-stakes conversations professionally.
• Fluent or native-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience communicating and negotiating with US clients, employers, or legal representatives.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct fact-based investigations.
• Experience in structured documentation, case management, or evidence-based decision-making (compliance, corporate audit, collections, claims, dispute resolution).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Proficient in CRM systems, spreadsheets or case management tools.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review escalated post-rejection inquiries from job seekers.
• Investigate whether employer-reported rejections align with available facts.
• Identify cases where employment may have occurred despite a reported rejection.
• Review case history, communications, and available employment information.
• Identify patterns and indicators of potential placement-fee concealment.
• Communicate with job seekers and employers to obtain relevant documentation.
• Collect and review employment contracts, offer letters, proof of employment, tax forms, and related documents.
• Validate and organize evidence to determine whether employment occurred.
• Maintain accurate and complete case files for potential legal action.
• Ensure documentation clearly reflects facts, timelines, communications, and evidences.
• Communicate with clients and employers regarding potential compliance violations.
• Clearly explain findings, supporting evidence, fee recovery requirements, and escalation options.
• Partner with external legal counsel once sufficient evidence has been gathered.
• Provide legal counsel with complete case documentation, history, facts, and relevant context.
• Support legal efforts to recover unpaid placement fees.
• Track cases through investigation, negotiation, legal handoff, and resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of case status, outcomes, and fee recovery results.
• Identify recurring patterns among repeat-offending employers.
• Analyze trends in potential concealment cases.
• Refine investigation and evidence-gathering processes based on emerging patterns.
• Recommend improvements to detection, documentation, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and other teams to improve case escalation processes.
