Job summary

AS White Global in Manila is seeking a claims professional to grow with an established Australian underwriting business that values collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will manage end-to-end motor and vehicle claims, liaise with Australian brokers and insurers, negotiate outcomes, and participate in regular claims meetings to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years hands-on insurance claims experience
• Experience with motor/vehicle claims
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Good understanding of insurance policies, coverage and claims processes
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in an insurance broking or underwriting environment is highly regarded

• Review policy coverage and documentation to determine requirements and identify coverage issues
• Handle a portfolio of complex motor and vehicle claims with accurate records and timely follow-up
• Liaise with Australian brokers, policyholders, insurers and stakeholders via phone/email to progress claims
• Negotiate with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve sound claim outcomes
• Participate in regular claims meetings, provide updates and escalate complex matters when required

What You’ll Do

• Manage claims end-to-end, from initial notification and assessment through lodgement, investigation, negotiation, settlement and recovery.
• Review policy coverage, claim documentation and supporting information to determine requirements and identify potential coverage issues.
• Manage a portfolio of complex motor and vehicle claims, ensuring accurate records, documentation and timely follow-up.
• Liaise with Australian brokers, policyholders, insurers and other stakeholders via phone and email to progress claims and resolve queries.
• Negotiate with relevant stakeholders and suppliers to achieve appropriate and commercially sound claim outcomes.
• Participate in regular claims meetings, provide claim updates and elevate complex or sensitive matters where required.

Key Criteria

• Possess minimum 2-3 years of hands-on insurance claims experience, with proven exposure to motor / vehicle claims.
• Demonstrated experience managing claims through the full claims lifecycle, from lodgement through to settlement and/or recovery.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to assess situations and make sound decisions.
• Good understanding of insurance policies, coverage, claims processes and supporting documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with confidence communicating professionally with brokers, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to independently manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working within an insurance broking or underwriting environment will be highly regarded.

Work setup

• Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6am–3pm PH local time), fully onsite.
