Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Civil Team Lead to head the Civil Team responsible for complex transportation and land development projects. The role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and client engagement across local and international teams.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, define design philosophies, ensure QA/QC, and deliver high-quality civil designs in a multidisciplinary environment. On-site work in Pasig, Philippines is required.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in civil design for roads, highways, terminals, drainage and civil structures.
Experience leading or supervising a small design team in a multidisciplinary environment.
Strong knowledge of AASHTO, ASTM, and DPWH-DGCS standards.

Responsibilities

Define civil design philosophies and act as SME for engineers and drafters.
Oversee QA/QC to ensure safety, functionality and regulatory compliance.
Establish workload schedules, track progress and implement corrective actions.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to support professional development.
Lead interdisciplinary design reviews and liaise with clients and external specialists.
Identify scope changes and issue design trend/change notices.
Conduct site visits to support design development and delivery.
