Job summary

SYSTRA, a global engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Metro Manila, Philippines. You will perform structural calculations, modelling and analysis, while leading a team of engineers to meet project requirements and safety standards.

You will coordinate with Architectural and MEPF teams, ensure constructability and cost effectiveness, and apply all relevant codes and specifications to deliver robust design solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge of discipline local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN, etc.) or project specific standards, specifications, design criteria and construction methodology.
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (MIDAS, ETABS, RAMCon, SAFE, RAM, etc.).
Experience with 3D modelling tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership capabilities.
Ability to coordinate with Architectural and MEPF disciplines.

Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering calculations, modelling and analysis.
Lead a team of structural engineers.
Solve problems of moderate to high level complexity in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure safety, constructability and cost effectiveness of the design.
Understand applicable codes and specifications.
Coordinate with different disciplines such as Architectural and MEPF; and
Report necessary information to immediate supervisor/manager
