Job summary

Sean Andrew Engineering Services in the Philippines is seeking a civil estimator to join our bids team. Analyze blueprints, prepare QTOs, and develop cost estimates for earthworks, concrete structures, fencing, and site development.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree and 2–3 years of hands-on estimation and supplier negotiations, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in estimation, costing, or structural design for civil works is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Excel or standard estimation software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project blueprints, drawings and technical specs for civil works (earthworks, concrete structures, site development, fencing).
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs (QTO) and detailed cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment.
• Source and negotiate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with the engineering and bids team to prepare winning project proposals.
