Social Housing Finance Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Civil Engineer with at least four years of relevant experience to join as an agency-hired employee under DBP Service Corporation (DBPSC).

The position involves technical evaluation of properties, site inspections, title verification, and appraisal related to SHFC housing programs. Training and benefits accompany the role as part of the agency arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 24 hours of relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical evaluation of properties in accordance with Area/Division's systems, procedures, and program terms and policies.
• Conduct site inspection, verification of title, property's land use and appraisal of properties for acquisition through CMP.
• Gathers and analyses general and specific data necessary in the preparation of appraisal report.
• Prepares site inspection, title verification, appraisal, project accomplishments, and compliance reports.
• Validates accomplishment/compliance documents submitted by stakeholders and assesses conditions thereof for purposes of loan release.
• Undertakes a thorough evaluation of the site development and house construction cost estimates to determine the technical feasibility of the proposed project under SHFC's housing programs.
• Checks property boundaries and configuration, accuracy of the technical description, and subdivision plans.
• Identifies issues/bottlenecks encountered in the evaluation/appraisal process.
• Canvasses prices of construction materials.
• Monitors projects' accomplishment for site development and house construction and the performance of CPM.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
