Job summary

MYKREAT CORPORATION in the Philippines seeks a Civil Engineer who can prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and cost analyses to guarantee accurate and cost‑effective project planning and execution.

You will review plans, obtain supplier quotations, monitor costs against budgets, assist in proposals and cost reports, and lead the Final Account at project completion, coordinating with Project Engineers, Procurement, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating or cost engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating tools.
• Knowledge of construction materials, labor, and project costing.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

About the role

Responsible for preparing project cost estimates, quantity take-offs, budgets, and cost analysis to ensure accurate and cost-effective project planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs


• Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work


• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations


• Monitor project costs and compare actual expenses against budgets


• Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and cost reports


• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors


• Monitor material, labor, and equipment costs


• Identify cost variances and provide recommendations to management


• Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, and project costing


• Lead the Final Account of the project completion, organize and archive the cost data of the whole process

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
