Xin Tian Di Chinese Restaurant at IHG Hotels & Resorts in Manila is seeking a Chef de Partie specializing in Chinese cuisine. You will lead a kitchen section, prepare authentic dishes, and ensure consistency with recipes, quality standards, and hygiene guidelines.

You will work closely with the Executive Chinese Chef and team to maintain culinary excellence, help with menu development, and supervise junior staff while maintaining high guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualificações

• Diploma in Culinary Arts or professional cookery preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of professional culinary experience, preferably Chinese cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients and flavors.
• Experience in Cantonese cuisine, wok cooking, or dim sum is advantageous.
• Good understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene and HACCP principles.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook, and present authentic Chinese dishes to established recipes and standards.
• Oversee the daily operations of your kitchen section and ensure efficient food prep.
• Maintain consistency in quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Support menu development, seasonal specials, and culinary events.
• Supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure proper techniques and procedures.
• Monitor inventory, storage, and waste to support cost control and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in your section.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections and service team for timely orders.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and hotel hygiene requirements.
