TESDA in the Philippines seeks a Chief Technical Education and Skills Development Specialist (Re-Open) to lead the Regional Operations Division, oversee policy implementation and coordinate programs with TVET institutions, industries, LGUs, and NGOs. The role requires a Master’s degree or CSC Leadership & Management certificate, plus 4 years of supervisory experience and 40 hours of leadership training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or CSC Leadership and Management certificate is required.
• 4 years of supervisory/management experience.
• 40 hours of supervisory/management training required.
• Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility required.

Responsabilités

• Directs, supervises and coordinates the operations of the Regional Operations.
• Reviews and finalizes policy recommendations on TVET for approval by higher authorities.
• Recommends to the Regional Director systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective policy program implementation.
• Provides technical services and staff advice on TVET to Vocational Technical Institutions, industries, worker's organizations, LGUs, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Manages and implements plans, programs, projects and services.
• Initiates social marketing, advocacy and networking.
• Facilitates the monitoring and evaluation of programs, projects and services.
• Ensures active multi-sectoral participation of concerned public and private agencies on TVET.
• Recommends measures for effective and efficient operations of the division.
• Performs other related functions as may be authorized.
