Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Vice President & Chief Quality and Safety Officer to lead the hospital's clinical governance, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered and timely care compliant with DOH, PhilHealth and accreditation standards.

You will direct quality assurance, patient safety, risk management, clinical audit, infection prevention, health information management and related programs, setting standards and driving performance improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician (MD) or registered nurse (RN) with a master's degree in Hospital or Health Administration or Nursing.
• Master's Degree in Hospital Administration or MBA Health.
• At least 8 years in hospital practice, including 5 years in quality, patient safety or accreditation, and 3 years at manager level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Formulates, implements and evaluates the hospital’s Quality and Patient Safety Plan and annual work plan.
• Manages the incident reporting and learning system for near misses and adverse events.
• Oversees compliance with patient safety goals and safe handling of high-alert meds and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains quality indicators across structure, process, outcomes and patient experience.
• Maintains risk registers and conducts quarterly reviews with risk owners.
• Ensures timely renewal of DOH licenses, PhilHealth accreditation and regulatory permits.
• Oversees IPC program including HAIs, outbreaks and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Ensures accuracy and security of patient medical records.
• Oversees patient feedback and complaint management with root-cause analysis.
