About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the company's day-to-day operations and for driving the end-to-end operational and commercial success of PHC's high-end property spaces and condominium portfolio to achieve the target sales revenue. The COO also collaborates closely with the President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Department Heads to ensure that the Company's overall success and strategic goals are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements operational strategies and plans that align with the Company's overall goals and objectives, setting a clear direction for the operational teams and ensuring they work towards the Company's vision and mission

• Ensures 100% occupancy on all the Company's properties to lease

• Generates new business opportunities, such as expansion, acquisition, and joint ventures

• Spearheads the execution of sales plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for high-end condominium projects

• Works closely with the operations group to ensure that sales commitments of high-end condominium units are aligned with the project timeline for turnover to buyers and the condominium corporation

• Improves the value of the Company by ensuring high profitability and remaining competitive in the real estate industry

• Identifies opportunities for process optimization, efficiency enhancements, and cost reduction across various departments

• Provides leadership and direction to all departments, nurtures a positive work culture that prioritizes teamwork and collaboration, and encourages open communication at all levels

• Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the performance of different operational functions and regularly monitors and evaluates these metrics

• Collaborates with other C-level executives and Department Heads to ensure alignment between operational efforts and the overall strategic direction of the Company

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance or any related course from a reputable college or university

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a Chief Operating Officer in an SEC-supervised company, preferably in the property management, development, and real estate industry

• Experience in handling business development in the real estate sector and in listing a company on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE)

• Extensive knowledge of managing a Company's day-to-day operations while contributing to the overall strategic direction and success of the Company

• Extensive knowledge in formulating policies and business strategies, and technical aspects of high-end construction projects, property development, and management

• Strong knowledge of real estate development processes, including mixed-use developmental requirements, zoning regulations, permits and licenses, and construction management

• In-depth understanding of financial markets, investment analysis, and government regulations, particularly those specific to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

• Excellent leadership skills, with strong resolve and integrity; excellent people development and people handling skills; strong oral and written communication skills; strong public relations skills; strong analytical and critical thinking skills; strong risk management skills; and strong compliance management skills
