Job summary

Peak Support is seeking a Chief of Staff to bridge strategy and execution for a mission-driven health food company. The role sits between the Founder/CEO’s priorities and the operating plan, ensuring teams deliver on key objectives across departments.

A highly collaborative position with strong communication and availability during team hours is essential. You will manage the operating rhythm, drive accountability, and build processes, dashboards, and workflows that scale.

Qualifications

• Significant prior operational or business-management experience.
• Ability to turn objectives into execution and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate company objectives into clear priorities, projects, owners, deadlines, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage the operating rhythm of the company and keep teams aligned around the highest-priority objectives.
• Track progress against company and departmental goals and hold team members accountable for commitments.
• Identify gaps between targets and actual performance, diagnose why objectives are off track, and develop practical solutions.
• Surface problems early and prevent missed deadlines or targets.
• Coordinate work across departments, remove bottlenecks, and improve communication across in-person, hybrid, remote, and external team members.
• Lead or facilitate regular operating and accountability meetings with clear decisions, owners, and next steps.
• Build and improve processes, systems, dashboards, and workflows.
• Help prioritize competing initiatives and protect the team from unnecessary work.
• Give the Founder/CEO visibility into what is working and what is not.
